British driver Will Stevens, who was previously involved with Caterham Formula 1 team, is poised to make his Friday free practice debut with Marussia tomorrow.

Sky Sports F1 writes that the 23-year-old, who is currently racing in the World Series by Renault FR 3.5 series, will be announced as a Marussia reserve driver and make his debut at Suzuka in free practice 1.

Stevens joined Caterham's Racing Academy in 2013 and tested their Formula 1 car twice.

The Briton will join Toro Rosso new hot shoe Max Verstappen in making his Formula 1 weekend debut tomorrow morning.
