Greg Kwiatkowski, known to many for his restoration of the 200 mph Dodge Charger Daytona, pointed us tothe National Film Preservation Foundation’sscreening of a Dodge Brothers film from 1917. From a 35mm original film, this video shows how the legendary Dodge Brothers cars were made.
The video was copied at 16 fps from a print preserved by the Academy Film Archive, based on material from the New Zealand Film Archive. It’s an incomplete, silent, 28-minute film. The Foundationwrotethat it might be tworeels of a three-reel moviedistributed to dealerships in 1917, along with projectors.View the film now.
