Automotive News reported that the Ram 1500 diesel was back in production, albeit in small batches. According to the industry weekly, up to twenty of the VM-powered Rams are being produced on each shift.
FCA announced in May that it had submitted new engine-control firmware to the EPA, and was confident the new programming would be certified. Until that happens, the Rams can’t be sold in the US or Canada,
