Did Mask-Wearing Save the Auto Industry?

Since North American auto plants have resumed operations, there have been no major outbreaks of Covid-19. Should we thank the mask? According to the experts, it’s clear that mask-wearing, along with social distancing, may have saved the industry.

No, it didn't. My local area has been mask-happy for awhile, and even moreso in the last month. When did the numbers supposedly explode? A few weeks after the MI Health Department illegally reinstated Adolf Whitmer's overturned executive orders and everyone went mask-and-shield berserk. To me, that's absolute proof that masks do exactly nothing, which is what anyone with an actual brain not jockeying for personal political or media prominence has known from the start.

The only thing that's ever "saved the auto industry" is the American taxpayer.
