Went out to the local yard this morning. My dad has a stock 318 2bbl 72 challenger. He asked me to do some work to it. Has a couple lifters ticking, get rid of the nylon tooth timing chain and such. His fathers day gift was me putting a 4bbl setup on his car. Picked up a ThermoQuad off a 318 and the necessary linkage. $50 for the carb/linkage. Don't worry, local buddy of mine is a T-Quad guy, he can work one. and well :xl: lol. We are also going to swap a cam in it, see the snowball effect working here? lol

Picked up a denso alternator that will go on my fish. Get rid of the stock replacement that im sure doesn't like my electric fans and such too much. Also snagged a electronic trunk release for the 'Cuda. tested it and it works. Now i just gotta get my kill switch setup installed. Since 'Cudas have the offset trunk key hole the latch itself has a different setup than the little rod deal like most mopars. So i wont be able to use my trunk key with the electronic release...BUT my kill switch will go in the key hole to make me legal at the track (battery is in the trunk). And yes, if the battery dies, its in the trunk...and that will suck. But i can get a charge to the battery from under the hood easily and probably get enough to make that little popper pop. :helpme:

Good day, made outta there for about $75...[smilie=f:

thats all ive heard on the alternator. Nothing bugs me more than those slowwww turn signals at night when the elect fan is running and that headlights are on. Hopefully that will go away and i can just not have to worry about it.
