DDR2 ram is NOT ordinary DDR. It's a different kind of memory that plugs into a different socket. Like DDR, there are various speed ratings for DDR2. DDR uses 184 pins, and DDR2 uses 240.
*Edit* Whoops, I screwed the pooch on that one. Initially, I thought someone was saying DDR and DDR2 were the same thing. After rereading it, I see what was actually being said. I concur, I think the memory in the picture is ordinary DDR 333.
