Cummins flare side pick-up...

honestly cow..my biggest complaint about that body style of dodges is that they do look far to much GM ...and hat bed just makes it even more so GM
the idea is good...but you know my view on the 80s body trucks...gimmy the 70s trucks any day

Hmmm...it's funny I like it, and thought the reception here on Moparnuts would be more positive. Shows how well I know you clowns eh...:D

Personally I think the truck looks good, there could be nothing else that would even closely match the dull shoe box styling of an 80's Dodge truck other then the dull shoe box style of a Chev. :D

Tell your buddy it's a sweet little hauler and he should be proud to own something others would have crushed (Like everything I own.) but I have to agree with Stretchy, the exhaust is kinda fugly.

I saw a mid 80's Dodge with a 90's Ford flare side bed. Not really sure how I felt about it, but it really didn't match.

Well that 90's ford box just don't work for me. And those rims and tires...WTF...did he grab those off the wifes plymouth acclaim.

however that made me think a bit..use the stock truck body sides for the bed then add flares to it...be it those ford flares or even the dualy flares....that might work

The good news is the bed is still 100% useful.

The bad news is that it looks like hammered assholes in a Ziploc bag. That's probably the worst execution of stacks I've ever seen.

...And the point of this? It doesn't matter if this thing runs 9's, it's still a mechanical asshole for having those wannabe stacks. Think of it as buying a dually to pull a Harley trailer.

Actually, I pulled some fairly heavy stuff with it.

...and my friend pulled an 80,000-pound 53' tractor-trailer with a single 4" exhaust with a muffler, dumped at the rear bumper. Uphill.

He then went to straight 5" pipe, no muffler, dumped at the rear axle and picked up some power there. After that, he went to MBRP stacks mounted off a Y-pipe in the bed, and picked up nothing, but he thinks it looks cool. All it did was make the truck obnoxiously loud, to the point that if he's giving me a ride home at night, I have him drop me off a couple blocks from my house. Not only do the Boozefighters have a propensity for calling the police anyhow, it's just plain embarrassing.

I've seen several like that down here, don't like it but it's not mine so

It's not mine either anymore. But, it was at one time, and I enjoyed the hell out of it while it was.
