I got drunk and swallowed my teeth, now
There were a few things about my latest acquisition, (the Hee-mee car) that I wasn't totally happy about. One of them being the Gio inspired trunk seal installation. As this picture shows, someone did a nice job of installing it in the wrong location, similar to someone, (ahem) that occasionally shows up here.

As you can see the seal is neatly tucked into the rain trough;

After about an hour & a half to remove remnants of the old seal and glue, we move on to installing the new seal. The best method to hold them in place during installation is to steal some spring-clip clothespins from the missus. I don't have either, so I used some small plastic clamps. Which I only have 4 of. With enough clothespins installation shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. But I could only do about 2 feet at a time. So it took me about a half hour to get these results;

And wa-lah, we now have an un-Gio-ed trunk seal.
