Ok Guys we need a few Mopars at this years Classics in the Country, It's in Hillsburgh Ontario On Sept 2.

Yahoo Member Blaine Shaw is involved in hosting the event and I'm sure he'd love to see Mopars out number the Chebby Cars this year, So if your in the neighborhood C'mon out

Big Sugar will be there sporting those new stripes as well.

HillsBurgh is just south west of Orangeville Ontario. and 1/2 hour north of Guelph/or/Brampton

I will be up that way (89 and airport) but I gotta visit with the family. Bummer. :(
 
Shit, I had to cancel my plans due to my inability to fly, but I doubt I will be up to the drive. when yah coming down here? We should get a bbq going again.
 
Thought about going but had other things come up....

Sucks what happened to you car. Give us an update on how dealing with Lant goes. I've heard they are good to feal with, though.
 
Big Sugar's car got shmucked by a schmuck in a Chebby..

"After Blaine Shaw finished up handing out the Trophy's and completing the raffles I proceeded back to my car to pack things up. As I arrived at my site I said bye to a couple of friends, And proceeded to put my Chairs in the trunk when a chap asked me if I had seen my Door yet ?? Puzzled i peeked around the side of Big Sugar to see the door hanging open and a Apprehensive guy who desperately needed to tell me something.
I quickly realize what had taken place and began to boil over .....I did manage to bite my tounge and contain numerous creative explizatives until I grew weary and blurted out a few sharp "F"'s I really thought I was going to faint I was so upset, I needed a few moments to collect myself and sort my feelings out. it was earily quiet. He explaned he was trying to beat the rush out and had trouble betting his 454 Chevy up a slight incline and was backing up to take a better run at it when he rolled back into my PARKED Charger......The space he was trying to get out thru in my opinion would clearly not accept the Girth of a Fat 70 Chebby.......??...! He's had a few I realize at this point. I regained my whits and began to look at the damage and he started to apologize to me and everyone around him , I do feel he was being sincere so I accepted his apology and gathered his info. By that time a few of the Club members had come down to talk to me and ensure I was looked after. Blaine Shaw quickly got things in order and i was off.
It's taken all evening and a bit to sort my stomach out , i'm just now starting to feel a bit better. All I can say was I was Stunned Shocked and Heartbroken all within a minute."

Well , It certainly wasn't a moment to remember , My gut still turn into a knot just thinking about it. It's the last thing you expect at a Car show.
Which by the way was a fantastic Show ! Good mix of Mopars, I would think Mopars actually dominated the 180 car field !!! We had 6 1st gen Chargers there and NO 2nd gens ?? Thats weird. I'll be back next year !!
Either way the Right door absorbed the whole hit. and luckily it appears to have left the Hinge post and the latch post unharmed. So basically it's a Complete door, Glass,Trim, hardware and paint the side of the Charger. about $4000 damage in total.
I've got the shop lined up , I'm getting close to locating a Clean Door.
I'm pulling the Motor to do a detail on the engine bay while we're at it. Not that it wasn't clean it was never really detailed, And I'm gonna install the "XM Motorsport" Rad Brace and strut Braces while its in the shop. Time to tighten up the front assembly......Maybe even a little Cam Switcharoo. Shhhh keep that under our hats for now.
Anyway I'm feeling a bit better now, Sorry the season is cut back a little short. Usually I'll drive right thru into November.
Either way Big Sugar will back Stronger than ever next year !!

awwww man, I would be so upset if that happened to my car, and piggy would probably be making bail lol...

hope you get it fixed good as new.
 
If BOWTIBOY was the culperit tacke his car in payment for the pain and suffering and sell it to fix up BIG SUGAR. Seems fair to me.:)
 
Please tell me you stomped the buttfaced, nuckleheaded dipshit into the dirt. Don't say you let that scumsuckin rat faced bastard live. Hope you cut off his balls so he can't contaminate the world with offspring. Tell me you bashed his skull in with your bumper jack and his body is still twitchin out in a field somewhere. I give you an alibi, you was helpin me polish off a case before it spoiled.:mad:

I am very sorry that happened wow.. Now the good news the junk yard i live on the border of has a first gen charger and the door is there what me to get price condition shiping ?
