TheDodge Charger was edged out of its #1 sales spot in the big-car class by the Chevrolet Impala.
For 2016, the Impala was the top selling large car, with 97,006 US sales; it was followed closely by the Charger, with 95,437. The next “non-premium” brand was, depending on how you see Chrysler, either the 300 with 53,241 sales, or the Toyota Avalon with 48,080.
