Some goddam teacher had her husband, who's a Master Sargent in the Army and just got home from Iraq, bring a goddam ARMORED TROOP CARRIER, COMPLETE WITH MACHINE GUN, to career day at my wife's school today.

Needless to say, the kids thought I sucked compared to this guy.

Rejection by a bunch of juvenile deliquent 7th and 8th graders makes me sad.
 
yep same thing happenen in the 60s when HASBRO dropped the I.A. JOE for the G.I. JOE action figure . [smilie=f:

The only thing that concerns teens these days are how many songs their Ipods will hold, and how they are going to get over on the rest of the world. And everybody knows you have to run a M-88 recovery tank to be able to lay rubber with the track pads.:doh:
 
I posted this on another board, too, and one dude said, "You'd have to be Superman or drive an ice cream truck to have beaten the Army guy." rofl

It was still fun, and I have to admit, I liked the tank, too.
 
Yep, I could see that being a hard act to follow. Yah coulda given the kids candy....Beeper says it works for him...
