Car pictures!!

J.C. Corbett

or something.....
As promised, here's the pics of the Sport Satellite I traded my Power Wagon for. It's a #'s 383HP car with a newly rebuilt engine (I've yet to fire it). The body is in very good shape, and will look great when finished. All of the typical rust areas are in superb shape, so when finished this car will have 100% original sheetmetal. Other options: air, high back seats w/buddy seat, light group, vinyl top. For some reason, the original owner opted for manual steering & brakes. Fine with me. The guy I got the car from removed the air conditioning & put a non air unit in (did it ever occur to just not use the air?), which explains the plate on the firewall. Luckily, the firewall wasn't cut, and I was able to get the original air unit. Aside from that, the car is amazingly solid & complete, outside of the MIA air cleaner and HP exhaust manifolds. As of last night, I had the car in the shop, the interior cleaned up, trim removed, and began to block the body. Oh, I almost forgot. It also came with a Road Runner hood:giggedy:. Sooo....whaddaya think?

I'll go and start a progress post shortly, but for now, here's the plan. The original color does nothing for me, and I'm not building this to sell, so the car will be black with a black vinyl top. As for the interior, I'm up in the air between white or black. The air will go back into the car with a modern compressor. I'm going to order a set of heavy duty torsion bars & rear springs, plus add the big b body sway bar that I got with the car. I'm starting on the body now because I have the material already, and can save money for the rest while the body is being done.

It looks like you got one heck of a deal. That looks like a really nice start to a sweet project. I am a big fan of the triple black cars, but the white interiors look stunning also.
I am looking forward to pictures of the progress!

Can you say "SuperBird Clone?" You know what that means, "SuperBird Clone?" Sure, I knew you would!:giggedy:
