Feather Dusters and Dart Lites all had iron blocks and heads. The aluminum slanty was an early-'60s thing, and block only. Chrysler never cast an aluminum head for the Slant Six. The trans case was aluminum in those cars, though; the first time Chrysler used one on a 4-speed.
There was a Hang 10 running around here for years. I never really thought much of it though (no idea on the drivetrain). I think it's a neat little outtake from the '70s, but I wouldn't put it in my Top 25 cars to own.
