CAR HOBBY OVER IN PENNSYLVANIA????

talk about pursacution geez if it is for real its just their way of picking up revenue on something they know people do (customize cars) hopefuly it doesnt spread. and what do they consider altering ? what just because you put an exhaust system in youre car you have ot get it reinspected pfft wow.
 
This may spread! With this "global warming","green" thing, this could get BAD!!!! Pa has always sucked! I am 52, and since I was 16 I have owned 200+ cars and trucks. I am proud to say that not one of them has ever had a "legal" inspection sticker on it! They have all had either "bogus" out of state plate's, or "hot" inspection stickers! Where are we, Red China?? Thank's for making my life worse than it already is Pa!!!!

i really dont belive this yet and im not sure it will hold water weasten PA. is a MUSCLE car and the other kinds of cars MECA so if it is true the pin heads will repeal the law fasted than it was signed .

The only idea I have is this, Any vehical over 25 years old is an "Antique" in Pa, and exempt from inspection! But you can only drive them a low amount of miles a year. You would disconnect the speedometer. I'm afraid that with this new law, it could be the end of this loophole! I will start the process tomorrow with my Z-28 and let you know how it goes!

well considering that there isnt a car in this state that is like it was when it was built (thanks in no spall part to redneck engine-nudity) i could see that happening here ill just go rgister my car in ohio and never have to worry about a inspec sticker again . honestly they are a joke anyway only reason wva enforces them is for the revenue no other reason thats whay 90 % of inspectors in this state kick your tires check your lights hear your horn congrats! heres youre sticker that will be 15 bucks..
 
I paid $10.50 for a sticker in a non-emission county in Tx. Checked horn, wipers, lights...

"brakes didn't make noise when you pulled in, they're ok... that'll be $10.50. Have a good'un"

Truck had dual exhaust with no cats, no emission crap to speak of either
