Canadians bought more EVs then ever in 2021, but since 2019 we have fallen far behind the pace of many European countries. All-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles sales now account for 5 percent of total sales, but that figure stands at 18 percent in the UK and 26 percent in Germans.
