The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, a performanceconvertibledue this summer, has been priced in Canada at$78,490 including enclosed delivery, with a convenience group (cruise, rear park assist, premium speakers, alarm) adding $1,800. The track packages add $2,400 and $2,300.
Despite being a convertible, the 4C Spider weighs just2,487 pounds, and has the same body stiffness as the coupe. It is rated at 24 mpg city, 34 highway in the US, and does 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.1 seconds — within 0.1 seconds of the AMG compact coupe and the BMW M3 coupe.
At the time of writing, the Canadian dollar was worth 80 cents, making the equivalent number in the US $62,486; the car sells for $63,900 in theUS (excluding destination), but the dollar is unusually strong at the moment. (...) →
