Byaaahhh!! A NEW MEMBER?!

Unless Wilwood started making a cable-actuated setup of which I'm not aware, no... the cylinder itself must be in perfect line with the pedal, no matter where you put the reservoir. You might be able to get away with a minor offset in the pushrod like they did with the Hemi A-body brakes, but the cylinder will wear out more quickly due to side loading, just like it did in those cars' brakes.
 
I feel like an a-hole asking all these questions, but would this clutch/brake pedal assembly work from a 70 duster?

Don't need that MC for the brakes, but a little rehab on that assembly might make it worth it. You guys rock for all the help here...gonna owe some beers at the end of this :D
 
Yup. That pedal assembly will work in any '67-76 A-body.

Okay, they won't be "correct" for all years, but they will bolt in and work.
 
Bah, no sweat there. Seems most a/m parts that are made for a specific application aren't "correct" either a lot of the time. Thanks for the response!

No, I fixed the clippers and got my scalp all down to nothing a couple of days after the party, thank God. Pretty memorable haircut, though, I must say. :D
 
I don't have any pics of the haircut. I'll see if I can dig some out for you, though. However, if I do, you have to listen to "Sexy and I Know It" while looking at them.

Stretch will tell you I have a defective embarrassment gene. Once the clippers died and I was stuck with the ridiculous hair, I decided to go whole-hog. Yes, I will show up in boxer shorts, two different socks, and two different shoes to your surprise party. And I will never regret doing it, either. :dance:
