Boy, did we screw up......

Everything on the inside was fine, bores are square and the crank mic'ed out standard. So in went some new rings after a hone job and the bearings are replaced. Stuck in a 340 cam with the 441 lift 218/228 duration and a pair of J heads off my 340. Chrysler rated this engine with 8.4:1 compression and I'm calling bullshit on it. After measuring the swimming pool sized dish on the piston that sits .094 in the hole and a 72CC chamber head I come out to 7.6:1. Thats fine with me cuz I hated paying for 94 octane on a car that I drive like an old lady. Probably should run on a mix of 87 and water.
So far the total is about $525 including the price of the T-quad I bought off E-bay.
The 360 thats in my Dart now will sit in my Challenger till all the wiring is done.

And wifey got her power steering pump.

Pigpen, that's PGF! I love seeing people get lucky on good deals, it's nice to be able to throw something decent together on the cheap.

I wouldn't call it decent yet, It still has to run and not sling parts at me! LOL :bwuhaha:

No parts got slung. Hopefully it will rain Sunday and between me and wifey we can slap a couple hundred miles on it while soaking up some warm weather on that balmy 48 degree day.

video clip just after I broke the cam in.
