Yes, Yes I did.

This 1984 Fifth Ave for $300. 318, 2bbl, 904 with a slipping 1st gear and when you brake torque with is it makes a horrible grinding noise at the front of the trans, converter maybe? The car is driveable still but does not accelerate very well in 1st gear and not at all at low speed kickdown. It will be getting a 360 2bbl out of a '78 cordoba next year along with a 2.94/8.25 with a redneck spool out of the aspenvertible.[smilie=i: The car will be lifted 'ala Dune Buggy Dart.:dance:

and this 1985 Parts car for $100. the trans is toast in this one, you have to drive very slow to get to second gear and then the trans works fine.

The front end is all wonky too, you wiggle around in your seat at 30 mph.

Why you ask?

Hey Dude.How goes it? Keepin' busy I see.
That truck box[in the back ground] seems sort of familiar lookin'.
My 3/4 ton deal fell through so my ol truck is now on its way to becoming a Flat deck unit ,got the deck frame built and wood for decking ,just need a few hundred carriage bolts to bolt the wood down and maybe some decent weather so I don't freeze my butt crack off doing it lol.
Got my Caravan on the road but I have to change the top tank on the Rad[cracked]I'd like to smack the dork that decided to put plastic tanks on aluminum Rads for use in Canada-DUH! Other than the Rad it drives great though.Now if I can just figure out how to set the time on the danged aftermarket Sony stereo[like I actually care rofl !]
