Hiding In The Bushes While
Yes, Yes I did.
This 1984 Fifth Ave for $300. 318, 2bbl, 904 with a slipping 1st gear and when you brake torque with is it makes a horrible grinding noise at the front of the trans, converter maybe? The car is driveable still but does not accelerate very well in 1st gear and not at all at low speed kickdown. It will be getting a 360 2bbl out of a '78 cordoba next year along with a 2.94/8.25 with a redneck spool out of the aspenvertible.[smilie=i: The car will be lifted 'ala Dune Buggy Dart.

and this 1985 Parts car for $100. the trans is toast in this one, you have to drive very slow to get to second gear and then the trans works fine.
The front end is all wonky too, you wiggle around in your seat at 30 mph.
Why you ask?
Because I miss having an off road car.
