BG pump packed it in..

Well after 15 years my BG fuel pump started to make noise...I changed all the fuel filters on the car and when I went to check the fuel pressure I noticed the pump was a little louder than normal ...
so I took it apart and the bottom brg was unhappy...nothing that a couple of new 608 brgs didn't fix:giggedy: ...
I was just going to order a new pump and be done with it but curiousity got the better of me...the brushes were like new and so was the com end of the armature...not bad for a 15 year old pump...I guess it's burnout time this weekend:giggedy:

I have more videos of burnouts but the audio just plain sucks...I did a ferocious third gear launch and audio just goes flat like the audio in my sig...here I'm wasting a set of those trick Isky springs and it sounds like the engine is turning 5000 rpm ...

How's the search for parts going? do you have everything?
I'm just in the process of building another zero deck 440 so I'll be able to check piston to valve with these heads (I sold that other 440 that I was going to use for checking)
all that's left to be done to your heads can be done in a day...so it's just a matter of seeing how much lift we can safely grind into a cam for your combo and set the springs up and it's done :dance:

ROB , the search for $ is comming along ok which leads to buying parts . got the cash for the cam and some other stuff . so when ever you get time a your ready im ready to get the cam from SCOTTY . :giggedy:
