Last year, FCA agreed to dramatically upgrade the paint shop at their Brampton, Ontario plant — an investment the union, Unifor, saw as key to keeping the plant active in the future.
Unifor President Jerry Dias told Automotive News, at the time, that their paint shop was one of the oldest within FCA, and that it would have a “complete rebuild” in 2017.
