Awww Man! I Want One of THESE!

You like the colour. You like the stripes. The Cordoba looks like it could use paint. See where I'm going with this? :D

I love the way they say "Florida Car" as if that meant something. Take it from me, I would rather have a well kept "New York Car" than a pos florida car any day. The sun destroys EVERYTHING. Up north, if you keep it in a garage and avoid the winter salt, a car will look and feel new for MUCH longer than here. FLorida car my ass...

I can see D_W now with a GTS he tries to smash the 'dopa with the GTS. Then 69.5 can get the left over parts... If I could offord it one would be in front of the house.... :)

Bitter are we? :D

Can you tell?:D

My wife bought a Saturn in '93 and a friend of mine bought an IDENTICAL (color, interior, everything) one. We live in Miami Beach, and he lives in Queens, NY.

Three years later, our Saturn was literally falling apart. We had gone through one extra set of tires, leather and dash was cracked and actually getting powdery in places...his car? Brand new...tight as a drum, no squeaks. Similar milage, but he avoided driving in the snow and kept the undercarriage clean when it did get full of salt. My wife's car never got salt, but was forced to bake in the sun while it was parked at work...

Garage-kept means nothing unless you can verify that the car wasn't used to commute, or, as in this case, is probably a weekend car.

I think the 'Doba doesn't need new paint, it needs a new owner (lol). I've got a pair of 5th ave here I'll trade ya!

If not, I like the silver w/red stripes real nice......
yellow w/ white stripes can hide a lot of bodywork...

man that would be the sweetness to get a low mileage gts for under 40k. i saw a regular viper a few years ago in the el paso paper for like 32k.

My wife's cousin has a 94 with less than 30K on it. I think I'm going to take it off his hands one day... it's the one in the picture...

Its got to be 10 yrs old or more before it gets cheap enough for me to be able to snag. Vipers have been out since when?:toot:

i heard a rumor that they were trying to replace the viper program

The Viper is not going to be in production next year but is supposed to be back the year after. I'm guessing it's for some redesign to make it top dog over the Z06 again.

I would say that has to be right. Who's going to pay 86K for a Viper when a REGULAR Vette with some minor mods can take it? The new styling isn't anywhere near as radical as the original, so that's kind of out as a selling point too.

Here's hoping they surprise everyone again like they did the first time... That supercar that shamed the McLaren sounds like a nice candidate...a little detuning to bring the price to 5 digits and they will be right back in the game.
