Had it... parted it... gave the hulk to a friend. To this day it rots behind his garage. RS23L, 440/floor-shift auto, manual steering and brakes, turquoise w/black gut 1967 GTX. :doh:
I'd have restored it, but it was stolen at some point and was currently titled as a Satellite. I still have the original GTX fender tag (RS23) that was in it, though. The theives were good... they painted the whole thing Turbine Bronze, including the engine bay, floors and trunk. You can still see remnants of the original color behind where the grille and quarter-panel end caps once sat in the following pics.
Aw Doc, that is just too sad...... I love Turbine Bronze, it's my fav colour. That's what colour our dear departed '67 Valiant was/is. Couldn't believe it when we first went to see the car before buying it, expecting the usual yucky green or yellow the Valiants always seemed to be. Pleasantly surprised, to say the least.....
Well, as was just said, ya can't save 'em all.......but it IS fun trying! :doh:
