Start saving your pennies. Hemmings Motor News is reporting, and the current car owner hasconfirmed,that the Sam Posey #76 T/A Challenger that competed in the 1970 SCCA Trans Am Series will be up forbid at the Hollywood Wheels Amelia Island Select auction, between March 13th and March 15th.
While not the primary #77 car that Posey campaigned to a fourth place overall spot in the 1970 season, the #76was the backup car, and Posey did race it a couple of times during the season, when they had difficulties with the #77 car.
