Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler, has made it clear that a large minivan-based crossover is once again in the works, though he hedged about whether it had been “green-lighted.” With crossovers selling well and minivans stable or fading, the idea has merit — and the newly renovated Windsor minivan plant could likely take a minivan-based crossover in its stride.
