...Moparfest? Thinking of heading up there one day this weekend. I've never been so I'm feeling kind of juiced about it. Anyone else from the board going this year?

We are leaving Wednesday. We have the motorhome, and are staying at Holiday Beach campground, so if anyone else is staying there, look for us. '79 Dodge Shamrock, white/green stripes, and, of course, the white '68 Valiant. We always go a few days early, and plan on doing St. Jacobs on Thursday, and the New Hamburg street cruise on Friday night. FINALLY, it sounds like we could have 5-6 days of good weather and NO RAIN!!! Geez, we deserve it!
Look forward to meeting some more 'Nuts, and I am definitely going to look up the New Porker! :giggedy: DCF and us are damn near neighbours, relatively speaking, but have never met in person yet.

I was looking for some mention of it - I was thinking of going up Friday as well.
We usually stay at my brother-in-law's house, but we're going to check out the burnout contest in Guelph and then head back to St. Catharines. Then turn around early Sunday morning and come back up to the show.

i never knew anything about a cruise on fri night ... hmm

Yep, sure do. They used to only do it every other year, but it has been yearly for several years now. Always a good turnout, and if yer lucky ya can pick up some deals at the sidewalk sales. And then there's the ice cream place..........:giggedy: :giggedy:

I'm going to the Canadian Street Car Nationals on the Saturday to watch the F.A.S.T. class cars run - it's thier first time at Cayuga.
For those that don't know what F.A.S.T. stands for.......it's Factory Apearing Stock Tire class. Some of these cars run in the 10's with little pencil width bias ply tires!!!!
