Another one...

The paint fumes have cleared so I'm
We picked up this little doll three weeks ago, as a rescue.
She'll be 5 months old May 3.
She came at the tail end of her mange treatment and brought a fear of loud voices & noises.
The mange is proving difficult to get rid of, but luckily it's not contagious.
The fear of anything loud is gone. Completely.
She's now the best bud of almost 11 month old Dot.
Roscoe, our blind & deaf 11 1/2 year old is kind of "meh" about her, but as long as they don't take his pillow, he's good.
She is an American Bulldog/ Great Dane mix. Very little Dane can be seen but her brother is very obviously Dane.
Ivy is sweet as all get-out, smart & VERY stubborn.
:)

Good Lord. I'm starting to understand why my Mom used to look at me wistfully and say, "Where does the time go, little one?" I remember Roscoe as a puppy. Same with Lola and Otto. For some reason I always think of the springers as older than Valentine, but thinking about it, I think I got her shortly before you got Lola. I've had her since late '09. She's doing very well considering her age, but with similar enthusiasm to Roscoe's for other dogs these days: "Yeah, whatever. Do your sniffing and move on, whippersnapper." Her vision is still good but her hearing is questionable. I honestly can't tell if it's going or if she just won't be bothered. She won't hear me, but she'll hear a wrapper being opened... 🤨

We got Lola on March 24, 2010. My birthday coincided with her Gotchyaday.
Ol' Roscoe is still able, even though he's been totally blind for over 3 years and almost totally deaf for 2. He's put Dot in her place at least twice - he can move with incredible speed, still, even though his accuracy is hit & miss - and I suspect he'll do the same with Ivy, though his privacy has increased since the to pups have each other to muck with. Dottie was frigging relentless when it was just him and her.
His nose acts as his ears now. He can smell a pepperette 2 seconds after it's pulled from its package, even if he's in another room.

Give Valentine a hug from me. Old dogs are special. :)

WOOF ARF ARF WOOF WOOF!
Yup. That about covers it.

I pity the neighbours two doors down... there are dogs completely surrounding them, and all of the mutts like to bark. We went for years with only an occasional WOOF from this yard, but the two young 'uns are pretty mouthy.

The Bishon Freise three doors down is the shrillest little bark I've ever heard. Like stiking tiles on an angle with a hammer...

One of my customers is also a neighbor. He lives about 1,000' down a side street that exits onto my street. I can hear his Jack Russell all the way at my place. I can't believe how far that dog's bark can carry.

57 lbs (so far) of muscle & love.
Just over 8 months old. Smart, friendly & STUBBORN!
If Ivy doesn't want to do it, Ivy won't.
Miss Noneck has made herself at home. Still a little shy about sudden, loud voices, none of the other traces of her abuse are visible.
She's a doll.
The face washes occur every 30 minutes or so.
Testicle punches less often. Thankfully.

Female traits are not limited to humans. V is very similar, along with being indecisive and occasionally deceitful. :ROFLMAO:
Dottie has figured out how to open the gate from the backyard.
Ivy can't be bothered with the intricacies of a gate latch mechanism... She'd rather try and knock the post down.
