Dr.Jass said:Hey, V8V... how didja go about that? Did you use the time-honored F/M/J-car front suspension setup (transverse T-bar)? I thought that would be the hot 1-step setup, but ol' Stretchy the Pervert here seems to think Ford parts would be the hot setup (Fox-body components [smilie=e.
See, I prefer my Mopars all Mopar. [smilie=e:
Ok Ok I am thinking FOMCO for the front but only to save weight. And i'm willing to $#!t can that idea. I too am mopar or no car. The F/M/J car thing may be used. I am still planing this thing out and I am open to all ideas.

Yep, All M body. I aint gonna put ferd stuff in anyting I own. Twas an easy deal, Ol MA made the inside of the van subframe the exact same dimension as the outside of the FJM body front subframe. I lifted the front of the van up about 3 foot off the ground and rolled the stub, motor and all under it. After a little sawzall action of course.
