Hey! There’s no easy button for a body like this!
Oakland will be the featured make at the Das Awkscht Fescht car show in Macungie Pa. this August. The 1928 Oakland American Six I worked on a couple of years ago has been invited to take residence in the featured car tent this year.
Wayne, founder of Oakland Sales and Service is the go to guy when it comes to these cars. He puts out a monthly news letter to club members. One of those issues had Marks '28 on the cover and that led to being asked to bring the car. Not only did he ask Mark to bring the '28 but he adamantly requested that I be there with Marks '28 so I'm going.
This will be my first antique car show and the first time I have had anything to do with a car that will be the center of attention. I can't wait to see all these prewar cars and Oaklands.
