Alfa Romeo will have fewer sales in China and more in North America and Europe — and that will meanthat cars will come out in a different order, according to Sergio Marchionne,speaking during the quarterly FCA earnings call.
Mr. Marchionne said that Alfa Romeo is still planning to sell 400,000 cars per year by 2018, and would still build the same products. It is likely that crossovers will come out earlier, and carscreated with China in mind will come out later, to match an expectedresurgence there.
Dodge and possibly Jeep are likely to be coming out with cars similar to those of Alfa Romeo, but after the much more expensive brand does, so buyers will be able to say that their Alfa Romeo is not based on a cheaper American brand. (...) →
