AIRBRUSH MURAL on MOPAR ? anybody have one on their car ?

rav440

gathering parts like a squirrel gathering NUTS
im thinking when everything is all said and done with the 440 , aboot getting a MURAL AIRBRUSHED on the top of the deck lid on the runner and a name for the runner airbrushed on the back of the deck lid above the bumper . any ideas ?

the paint on the deck lid is for some reason not as nice as the rest of the car so i thought an airbrush job might look cool

i thinking some METALLICAish and the name BLACKENED on the back but very very light letters .

thanks RANDY

At the 1979 NHOA meet in Denver, a guy had a 68-71 Olds Cutlass of some sort with a Hemi stuffed in it. On the deck lid, he had a mural of an elephant being loaded into a rocket with the number '88' on it. Cool mural, but a waste of a good Hemi.

say Randy, I just got this strange phone call. it was from a 70's van, and it wants it paint scheme back. Just thought you might want to know.

Holy 1975 Batman...

In all my years working on cars I've seen a LOT of art work on cars...some bad..some good but IMHO they all looked out of place...
even the REALLY Big Dollar stuff that was ghosted into the base and covered with 50 coats of hand rubbed lacquer...it always takes away from the car...

:) yep thats right i want the runner to look like it just did a smoking rooling burnout right out of the 70s :giggedy: .

like i said this wont take place till the 440 is done . the way i see the deck lid is an unseen object not a focal point the ass of this sitts high not skyed but high unlike the hood that everyone sees that is in a direct line of sight .

the res of the satty is Sox and Martin-esk red white and blue. I'd drive it!

I have never had a car with a mural but when I was a kid I saw a Barracuda with some sort of Molly Hatchet cover art muraled on the hood. I dont think it was the same as what is on the trunk lid pictured but it was definitely one their covers.

always wanted to get "minerva mink" done up on the glove box door of my red cuda as well as her signiture..as well as the name done somewhat small on the trunk lid............someday

 Ok, I understand the first part, but whats up with the second part of that acronym? The only thing that comes to mind is: "Rolling On Floor Laughing My Farking Ass Off And, Incidentially, Pissing On My Cat".

Am I close?
