i found a used pump.... 40 bucks.... the bitch of it is.... this morning on the way to work... my moms fuel pump crapped out in her 98 GMC Safari..... then on saturday or sunday my stepdads PT Cruiser stopped moving... something sensor related in the trans i guess... the check engine light came on and the trans no work now...

Im saving up the money to buy the mopar replacement pump... since its workin now... because i know since it had this one incident there will be more....

Before you pissed away good coin on a replacement pump did you even check to see if you are getting 12v to the pump? You thought it was out of gas, does the dino juice indicator even work? Maybe a bad ground strap (if gauge is pegged full)? Are you one of them people that only puts 5 bucks in the tank when the needle is below the red? If so then maybe your pump is NRTS. Check fuses first.:doh:
