A visit with Jass

J.C. Corbett

or something.....
A few nights ago, Jass told me happy birthday on Facebook, to which I replied a need to chat with him over an engine build I've been contemplating. Jass immediately sent me his phone number, and when I called, it was like visiting with an old friend. We chatted about cars of all types, life, and everything else. Two days later, I rang his number again for advice on a Mopar ignition question to the same end. Questions answered, followed by conversation about life, music, women, and everything in between. Folks, if you get the chance to meet this dude, do it. Though we've communicated through Moparnuts and email since '06, I now consider Jass a trusted friend.:bravo:

You think that was bad, you should try doing it in person. :D :D

Seriously stopped by his shop a 3 - 4 years ago and had lunch with him, That experience inspired wifey & me to make sure we made a day of it next time we were in his part of the world.

It was a really, really good day.....wrapped up with Stretch and his family joining us.

had the chance to meet quite a few east coasters when i was in MI picking up fishy...doc and strethc were the only 2 to show

Mopar_Man was there as well.

I still have the pic of all 5 of us. :)

Doc is the shortest of the bunch but, not by much! :D

I've met up with our in-house Yoopers on several occasions. It's almost like old home week when we get together. :bravo:

It was a 7' ceiling. I'm 6'2" tall, and 69.5 isn't standing up straight. I was definitely the midget in the room. :D

nope i was not standing straight..but i rarely do.......i forgot MM was there...wonder why...how long was that after my 96hours of no sleep

I don't think it was too long, since you were leaning on the wall in the picture and essentially couch-bound that night. I think you were still pretty tired. :D

Damn, at 5'11" I'd bet a damned runt with y'all! Then again with 2 younger brothers both measuring about 6'4" and my dad and uncles all over 6', I'm kinda used to it. :D

My Dad was 5'11", but everyone seems to remember him as much taller. Even though he had to look up at me to speak to me, I still felt like I was 4' tall. :D
