A must-have tool!

If you've got a car down to the bare unibody and have to fab new brake lines, or are simply working on brake lines, this is an affordable hand tool you'll want. It's a brake-tube bending pliers that can make very-tight turns in 3/16" tubing without kinking, collapsing, or marring the line. Once you've got one, you'll wonder how you got by lacking this sucker:

We've got it on special, but I'll be honest: I can't compete with the internet guys' pricing unless you're within my free shipping area (or near an Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper store where you can purchase it). It's made by V8 Tools, their part number is 806. If you do a lot of undercar work involving brake lines, you'll thank me for this post.

wow those are TIGHT bends..im impressed!!!..i may need to pick one up..what "should" i expect to pay fo rit?

I would think that $23-$25 would be about right locally. I've seen them online for around $19, but those guys don't have a store, employees, etc. I do, and all that shit has to be paid. :D

Auto value is the only place I shop. Without Arrow part here in town i'd have to take up golf.

I have that tool and it is simply the best line bending tool I own. They are also available for 5/16 and 3/8 tube.

That's PGF there! I wonder if there's an Auto Value anywhere remotely near me? If not, maybe I can order it from Jass?

Ahh another tool to have..."Just in case"...I have a garage full of 'em and when you do need it you never regret spending the money.;)

I had bought a alternator/Power steering pulley puller kit...not high end but good enough for the backyad mechanic...I got a good deal and couldn't pass on it...I have since used it at least a dozen times and can't believe I went allt hese years without one.[smilie=::
