How do you know it doesn't have any paint on it? Could be cast iron grey...or what ever. I have painted many cast pieces and they look just like they are still bare. ;)

Regardless...looks good!!

As for the cal not being painted, I didn't think of that until I was putting the wheel on.
Before I'm finished they will be painted

Thanks guys !

Now I have the pass side prepped, painted and ready to install the new parts.
I had some questions on how the disc setup should be installed. I first did the drivers side, when the cal mounted on the front it didnt seem right where the brake hose was. I removed it all and put the other spindle on so the cal was at the rear, then the hose was clear but the bleeder was not at the top. I did some searching online and found that I'm not the first person to make this mistake. Now today I will be removing at again to switch it back to the way I had it the first time, front mounted cal with bleeder on top. I must have had the brake hose connected wrong the first time. I guess I will have to figure something out, we'll see......

Here's the pass before pic's.......

Finally back on all 4 wheels now. Finished up the front brakes, painted the calipers, painted the rotors just were they can be seen behind the rim.
Just waiting on my new tie rods now so I can get the steering back together. Front end is tight right now so I'm sure once it gets moved around a bit I will need to readjust the torsion bars a bit.
I'm also waiting until the interiors all back in and the fuel cell is filled to see if I may need to lower the rear a bit. I'm thinking once all that weight is back in it might drop it down that inch or so that I want.

Ahhh very nice!! Nice to have it back on the ground on all 4 wheels. Bet once you fill the tank, and move and bounce it around for a few days while driving, things will settle a bit.

Thanks Frank !
Yeah thats kinda what I figured too so I'm not going to go changing anything just yet, not until I drive it a bit.

Just replaced all the tie-rods today so it has steering again.
It's getting so close to being finished now I'm getting the itch to take it out for a run.
Can't wait to just be able to bring it outside for a wash and clean it up.

LMAO, Sorry...... I guess Frank is the person who quoted the saying on your sig?
That was stupid of me......
Anyway, Thanks for your comment !

I'm one lucky bugger I tell ya.......
I had mentioned before that the master cylinder pushrod in this Dart had been made up by previous owner. Well I had planned on changing his welded up junk with something proper since the brake pedal was up so dam high, can hardly get a foot on it under the steering coloumn.

After running the car all last summer with brakes so bad you had to press as hard as possible to stop the car, it went into the shop to do all the upgrades. The brakes had no reason to be touched since it went in the shop. Now I'm done with putting all the new brakes on the car so I go to bleed the brakes..... I pushed the brake pedal by hand 5 times and the pushrod broke in half [smilie=2:

I'm so lucky that thing didn't snap while I was driving the car :helpme:

Holy crap!! Glad that happened in the garage, and not out on your first test run with all your upgrades!!
