'66 Valiant sedan

Traded some labor, well a good bit of labor, for this little gem. I don't need or really want it, nor do I want to part it out, it's much nicer than I originally thought. I do have the hood and the transmission, but the motor is MIA. She started life as a /6-3on da tree. The seats look like they were redone, but the headliner is starting to separate at the seams and the carpet is faded. The doors/panels were also cut for speakers. There is a dent in the passenger door, and a small crease in the right rear wheel lip.

She really needs some love, and to be put back on the road and enjoyed.

Post pics shortly

Edit: I think $1200, but will offer substantial discount to the regulars.

'71-4 Charger front spoiler.

Thanks Stretch, but no... I traded a bunch of sweat, sore muscles and bit of blood for that car. :D

Not to mention a couple trailer loads to the dump..

Besides, I still have those A body spindles around here... somewhere...

No offense to those of you diggin' on the car, but I could never bring myself to love those things....'specially in a 4 dr.

I'm totally an A body guy, but the lines and front end just don't do it for me - dunno why - lot's of other '65 - 66 mopars I like just fine, just not these so much.

Glad it's makin' you happy Mr. RT - it deserves to be saved. :bravo:

im with ya there..i NEVER liked that face..the tail lights i dont mind...but thats about it on the 4-6 valiant/fish..cant stand the dashes...the emblems and extra touches i like but as a whole i could never own one

So ugly it's cute :D

I'm really going to hate parting this one. I don't mind the '66, the '64-5 on the other hand :dgt:

The trans is wrapped up in a comforter on the car back seat. I also found a slanty chrome valve cover, still in the plastic.

i like the EARLY val's pre 64 and the darts up to 66..after that meh

That's pretty much where I'm at on the A's. Demons hold the #1 spot, '67-9 Cudas and '70-2 Dusters are tied at #2, with the '64-6 Darts in at #3.

The early Valiants, like 68's, hold an honorable mention.

Is there any way to test a Pertronix ignition? I was digging through the trunk of the little Val to see what was there and found the distributor, yup it you guessed it! The PO told me his uncle pulled the running, but knocking, leaning tower of power. I just want to verify it works, if it comes down to selling it.
