Yesterday I just pulled what might be the only original 40+ year old big block chrysler timing chain without significant nylon teeth breakage. It was in the '69 new yorker I'm working on with only 83k on it. The chain is fairly stretched, but it had no real nylon loss. I've seen them so bad the nylon plugged up the oil pickup and scrapped the motor. This one is getting a cheap summit double roller setup. I think I'm gonna advance the cam 2 degrees to give it more torque. Piston/valve interference isn't a concern-the engine is stone stock.
