2012 Dodge Challenger - $60,000 - Dearborn, MI - For sale in our Detroit Showroom is an eye-catching 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Wide-Body. This unique Challenger R/T has underwent extensive customization to achieve the aggressive stance and amazing curb appeal. At first glance you cannot help but notice the Wide-Body which widens the front fenders as well as the rear quarter panels. This customized Challenger was created to resemble the infamous 1970s cult-classic car-chase movie Vanishing Point. No expenses were spared during the build of this wild Challenger R/T to give it a very unique look. This Challenger is sporting a Bright White paint job accented with Carbon Fiber vinyl wrap and a cloth black interior. What really makes this Challenger look appealing is the massive 22 staggered Asanti Carbon Fiber wheels with a lifetime structural warranty! The wheels measure 22x11 in the rear and 22x9 in the front and they are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. This Challenger also has the desirable Lambo Door kit that were made specifically to fit this vehicle by Vertical Doors Inc. Powering this massive coupe is the infamous 5.7L HEMI V8 pushing around 375 horsepower paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle-shifters. This wide-bodied coupe is also equipped with options such as Satellite Radio/Navigation/CD/DVD combination with a 40GB hard drive. This beauty also includes Keyless Entry Remote Start and full power options. Amazingly this Challenger R/T still retains up to 4 years on the Chrysler Warranty due to its completely stock drivetrain. The paint scheme and wheels all work together to make this thing ugly as hell. :hurl:

I'm not sure which "Vanishing Point" they think they saw, but the only two of which I'm aware both featured a very plain, stock white Challenger... no 'cudas, no pinstripe overkill, hideous body kit, billboards, aftermarket wheels, or fresh-air hood.

The choice of car was symbolic: pure, unmolested, and (by virtue of the white paint) angelic. There's a greater theme in the movie than just a guy raising hell in a (then) new car he doesn't own.
