Well, actually one never left, I just got it back from a buddy. Its a '71 Demon that WAS a slant six car, no motor or trans, front clip also gone. Field car actually. I traded a Truck to my buddy for that one, cause I am putting together my '85 for tow duty. I've figured out a plan for it already and it shouldnt be a bad car to build really.
Second one, did more trading plus a little cash (like $100 or so) and that netted me a '72 D-100 longbed. Nothing real spectacular really, manual steering, no air, power drum brakes. BUT, it has a 360 under the hood, backed by a 4-speed granny and 8 3/4 3.55 open. Stump puller to say the least. All I nad to do to fire it was put battery terminals on it, a battery, and bolted the carb back down and hooked it up.
Sucker will light em up in first easily and even in second (where you are supposed to start out from unless pulling loads. This thing will flat out move even with the havy trans.
Not sure the plans for this one, bought originally to get a title for and put on the road, its too good to part out despite the typical rust. Right now it serves yard duty.
No pics, camera software is MIA
