They don't bring that kind of money, but 5-speed '89 GTCs are pretty rare cars. A friend of mine had a white version of this car around '01 and as I recall it was one of only a couple of hundred built. All '89 GTCs were turbo cars, but the Turbo II was available only with the stick and only in '89 if memory serves.

Yeah, for all the luxury options (that car was full-boat right to the power sunroof and leather) that sucker asserted itself pretty well. It was a hoot to drive fast, and very comfortable doing it.

Oh, yeah... all '89 GTCs were hardtops. Cloth roofs came later, and never with the T-II engine.
