The chargers weren't quite as quick as the Omni's because of some extra baggage. :naughty:

I had an '87 shelby, fun little car.....but it was still just a tin-can. :doh:
 
I'd love to have that car. 'Twas the only model ever to pull a length on my Trans Am... from a 100MPH rolling start (and I still pulled him down). Still, it's only a $3,000 car in that shape... and knock off at least $500 for the missing original wheels. Those replacements are hideous.

Yes, the heavier hatchback was not as quick as the lightweight 4-door, nor was it as much fun to beat someone with. Add all the spoilers and decals you want, it still hurts to have a 4-door Omni walk away from you.

The little "scale extention" decal on the speedometer is cute. Useless, but cute. The needle has an internal stop and won't travel past about 107MPH. :doh:
