I'd believe the rarity part of it for sure. '78 440 trucks were needles in haystacks new. Production wasn't much higher on my roommate's old Adventurer SE extended-cab 2WD.

It's not a perfect restoration, though. Trucks didn't get the 440HP (not even the Warlock, which was just an appearance package), so it would not have had a chrome air-cleaner lid or the air ducting. Those are 360 LRT parts someone added at whatever point, and the decal on the lid was not used on anything in '78 if memory serves.
