1974 Plymouth Duster - $16,450 - Crystal Lake, IL - Great detail has been put in to this car with complete stripping and sandblasting throughout before being painted. Exceptional finish in Hemi orange, rebuilt rear end with 3:50 gear ratio. The engine is a 340cid with a factory Hurst 4 speed. It has Edlebrock alum heads (202's), milled cam, .30 over pistons, chrome Molly rings, high volume oil pump, oversize oil pan (holds 8-10 quarts), Edlebrock Performer high rise intake, Edlebrock 750cfm carb and a MSD ignition box.The front end has been rebuilt with new bushings, new shocks and sway bars. The car has front disc brakes and a fuel cell in trunk. The interior and headliner are new. It has an Alpine I-Pod ready stereo with a 250 amp power booster, 6x9 speakers mounted under the dash and in the rear deck. California car. The restoration was done over 10 years ago but has only been driven less than 5000 miles. Always stored indoors with a car cover. At first I thought this car was $10,000 too high, but when I saw it has a milled cam and .300" over pistons I knew it was something special. Further evidence came from the Ford rear gears and the intake, carb and heads made by Ed LeBrock, father of '80s "Weird Science" star Kelly. Her sister Molly went into the piston-ring business. I really wish there was a clear picture of the alternator; I'd love to see what's generating enough electricity to run that 250A power booster!

Seriously, I don't know who thought blacking out the lower part of the area between the wheelwells, but it makes the rear quarters look like they're really badly installed.

After reading the ad fully, I figure it's about $12,000 overpriced now. :D
 
And of course the same moron that wrote the ad takes pictures under a shade tree. :doh:
