1973 Plymouth Satellite - $12,500 - Manchester, NH - This 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring is an unrestored original car that spent most of its entire life in Iowa. The car has a numbers matching 318 engine. Originally a two barrel that was upgraded by the previous owner in Iowa. They also installed an Edelbrock Four Aluminum intake and new Edelbrock 580 CFM Carb to enhance the performance. The car has all original paint, chrome, stainless, original full tinted glass, 14" Rally wheels with raised white letter radials,. The options are factory air conditioning, power steering, power drum front brakes, vinyl top, AM radio with an old school FM converter, fender mounted turn signals, front bumper guards and cruise control, which was dealer installed. This unrestored example has an extremely solid body with no areas noticed of any rust, rot or repairs. The exterior body and paint show really nice, showing its beautiful factory finish, doors open and close perfectly, original paint in the door jamb area with original weather-strip and window felts that are excellent. The chrome bumpers still have a nice high luster to them. Also the front grill, head light surround, trim and stainless on the car have a nice shine to them. The car's interior is all original with no wear or tear. Original bench seat, original carpets, factory seat belts, original headliner, door panels, rear package tray, door hardware, dash pad and instrument cluster all have a nice brilliant appearance. The steering wheel is in perfect shape with the original pebble grain. Definitely a 40,000 mile car - no question when you look closely over the entire car. Looking under the hood you'll notice the aftermarket intake, carb and air cleaner element, basically unrestored, never detailed. Just original. The inner fender aprons and fire wall has nice clean original paint with original fender tag still in place.
We just serviced the car and had to recore the original radiator, oil lube and filter, wiper blades and repair the wiper motor. Looking at the car's brake system, front end, single exhaust system are all in great shape. The car will need new tires due to them showing dry rot from sitting. Air conditioner is functional. Check out the trunk in this car! It's beautiful original paint, no moisture or rust, full size spare with original jack and trunk matt. Awesome original unrestored example for the entry level car enthusiast that is affordable too!
