I suspect this car is a rebody for the slightest of reasons: the location of the tail-panel emblems. The LH side, if memory serves, is a '74-only detail. That sticks in my mind because my friend had a '74, and I looked at a '73 340/4-speed car in Basin Street Blue with the emblems to the right of the license plate.

No matter, even if this car were concourse it would not be worth nearly $40K. It's nowhere near that, with skimps like the unrestored, shitty door panels where no one even tried, to the loose headliner and upholstery, the '71 wheel centers, and the CD player all make this a $20K car tops, assuming it's not a rebody. I'm sure there are other problems but those are what jumped out at me.
