1972 Dodge Charger - $18,950 - Cedar Rapids, IA - 1972 Dodge Charger
After 1972 and the squeeze put on the Muscle Car Era by the insurance companies and the Feds Chrysler's new ''Fuselage Body'' cars were effected dramatically. With the loss of the Hemi and 6 Pack 440s the bigger bodied Mopar Muscle lost some luster on the street. The styling was however, new and refreshing, a tradition that Chrysler still upholds today. They still have the fortitude to deliver bold and cutting edge design to the market. This stunning Rallye Red and Black example of the second year of the new body style has the look and options, not to mention the use-ability, that make it a unique and fun driver today. Get behind the wheel and start humming your favorite Beatles tune as you recall the ''good ol' days''.

Throw '71 stuff at it like the side stripes and body-colored bumpers, but it's still a '72 base car with the shitty dash and a 318. The grille finish shows a total lack of effort here, as does the mismatch between the body and underhood paint. Best day ever, this is a $6,500 car. If it were any more base it would have four doors and a slant six. There's just nothing here to recommend.
