1972½-'74 Challenger bucket seat bottom

Dr.Jass

I need a seat bottom for the driver's seat of my Challenger. It can actually come from either side of the car, since they're the same. The difference lies in the mounting bracket/adjuster, and I've already got that. I only need the part your butt touches; mine sat outside for a number of years and is very rusty.

The seats changed in mid-'72 from a hard-back (plastic shell) design on the upper to upholstery all the way down; the two do not interchange nor will the bottom from a hard-back B-body through '74. I think a full-upholstery A-body bottom might work but I've not yet been able to verify that. The seat foam is molded to the frame on the seat I need, so the price should reflect any damage to the foam--it's non-replaceable.

I will buy an entire seat if necessary, but I don't want to purchase a pair. PM me or post here if you've got something or can point me in the right direction.

doc i have a BUNCH of buckets..some worse than others..that ive never ID'ed got a pic of what your after?

If it looks like this, has a low-mount latch lever and does not use a hard plastic back it's what I need. Upholstery condition and color don't matter, but I'd like for the foam to be at least decent.
