Very clean and nicely done, and you know I love the color. But what was it originally? Any 440, 4-gear car would come with a Dana, not 8-3/4. :hmmm:

If it were an original 6-pack car it would be worth every penny...................but..........:dgt:
 
It's a 383 car. A nicely-optioned one at that. They're probably not far off the mark since it's not a terrible amount of work to do a reasonable final restoration on it, and many would consider the engine in the car to be an upgrade over it being restored anyhow. The rear axle's certainly in no danger of breaking. The D60 would be nice, but it was total overkill in virtually every passenger-car application. The 8.75" will hold up to far more than what this drivetrain can toss at it.
