1971 Plymouth Duster - $38,000 - Boca Raton, FL - 1971 Plymouth 340 Duster with 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This Vehicle Has Just Completed A Total Restoration. I've invested over $40,000.00. 100% Sheet Metal, and the 340 has less than 100 miles since rebuild as well as 15" Cragar's, and Tint. VIN info: VS=Plymouth Duster Special 29=2 Door Sports Hardtop H=340 4 Barrel 1=1971 13=Hamtramck, MI It has a high performance camshaft with an Accel Super Coil that's engineered for a faster rise time and a longer spark duration. It has a high performance distributor cap, heavy duty plugs, and wires that connect to a heavy duty marine grade battery. HOLLY DUAL FEED 750 PUMPER CARB. FOUR SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. REAR END 3:23 POSITRACTION UNIT. THE EXHAUST IS A CUSTOM BENT DUAL EXHAUST WITH EQUALIZING CROSSOVER PIPES THAT FLOW THROUGH A GLASSPACK MUFFLER AND DUAL STRAIGHT PIPES WITH SQUARE "PYPE" TIPS THAT CAN BE SEEN COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE REAR. NEW WATER PUMP WITH A HEAVY DUTY UNIT. THE THERMOSTAT WAS REPLACED. FRONT BUCKET FRONT SEATS. REAR BENCH. BLACK LOOP CARPET. THE GAS GAUGE, INTERIOR AND REVERSE LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, AND WIPERS ALL WORK. The restoration wasn't meant as a prep for selling the car, so no expense was spared. My life with classic cars is similar to my life with women... I spare no expense because I never think I'm going to sell and then I decide to sell. It's time for a Psychologist!

I'll start with the softer stuff.................white is not a very flattering color for this car, and I've never really liked those snorkle scoops. If you're doing a "restoration", why not restore the headliner retaining strips? :doh:And the engine bay is a disaster. Bedliner doesn't hide the patchwork where the fenderwell headers were. :naughty:

damn you for making me look at more than the cover.....how much trouble would it have been to oh..i dunno go cut out patches from any other a body to fix the fenderwell header holes and then do it GOOD enuf to be impossible to see atleast from the top....its not like a bodys are rare
